Proud chapter of NYSBOC and ICC

Training

Each year the BOASC offers a minimum of 24 hours of in-service training. We make sure to offer classes in all of the 3 required topic areas. Our classes are held in person.

Networking

We hold 4 meetings a year. Spend some time meeting with fellow code officials and discussing various issues and ideas. It is also a great time to learn about upcoming changes that impact your job.

Code Development

As a chapter of New York State Building Officials Conference and International Codes Council, and a part of ICC Region VI, we participate in code development. Our delegates attend NYSBOC and ICC meetings and represent our chapter members.

We are Building Code Officials, Code Enforcement Officers, Fire Marshals, Architects and Engineers with one mission....Building safer homes and businesses. We have become known as "First Preventers" When we do our job, nothing happens!
